Tetsukugi Clip
Description:
A "Shibui" type Roller Pen with a "Namban-Kawari-Nuri" urushi lacquer with a forged "tetsugi" iron nail clip. The clip is coated with urushi respectively urushi is burned into the surface on high temperature. This technique is called "Kintsuke" and is used to seal iron cast tea kettles and many other things in Japan.
