"Miyabi Bô" Fountain Pen CollectionEbonite Fountain Pens with Urushi Lacquer Finish hand made in serial for retail and direct order. The "Miyabi" design is simple and elegant and can be decorated in many different lacquer techniques. The diameter of the cap is 1.0 mm wider than the barrel and ends with a gold fitting. Kindly note that shape, length and diameter of barrel and cap can vary slightly. Special orders are welcome. Miyabi (雅) is one of the oldest of the traditional Japanese aesthetic ideals, though perhaps not as prevalent as Iki or Wabi-sabi. In modern Japanese, the word is usually translated as "elegance," "refinement," or "courtliness" and sometimes referred to as "heart-breaker".
