The concept of this pipe is, that it is convertible constructed from 3 parts Chamber, Stem and Mouth Piece. The Chamber is made from Briar, Kinsokumitateai is the term for lacquer imitating metal surfaces. On this pipe the ground is made from iron powder, the maple leafs are applied to look like metal foil was inlaid into the iron surface, a techniqque called "Zôgan". The bowl made from solid Briar, the stem Ebonite with gold plated brass fittings, the mouth piece black acrylic. The bowl 45 x 40 mm, the chamber 22 x 35 mm

A Note on Urushi,Urushi lacquer is literally indestructible. The hardness of Urushi lacquer reaches Mohs 4, the hardness of Glass. Urushi Lacquer has strong antibacterial properties.Urushi lacquer is resistant against all known Acids and Alkalis.Urushi withstands heat up to 300 Degree Celsius. Only long and strong exposure to UV rays could destroy Urushi over time.
